Sterling Silver Bracelets, Bracelets in Sterling Silver | Jewellery by Fraser Ross

Silver is so popular worldwide especially when it comes to precious metal jewellery, that’s why we’ve got the best silver bracelets for sale in Australia right here at Fraser Ross. You might be wondering why we think our precious metals bracelets and jewellery are the best, but let us tell you a little bit about ourselves first.

Chain Me Up rebranded themselves as Fraser Ross in 2016 and is one of Australia’s premier precious metal chain and jewellery businesses. Ross Fraser worked at a precious metal chain manufacturer for several years and was inspired to start his own business selling high quality chains at affordable prices after being bombarded with requests from family and friends to purchase these chains at the manufacturer’s price.

Like any business Chain Me Up took off after a lot of hard work and dedication, with only precious metal chains being available at first. We now offer one of the widest selections of any online jewellery store, with over 4,600 designs in our charm section alone. Our selection of precious metal jewellery includes necklaces and bracelets, bagels, earrings, zodiac jewellery and so much more.

We are a humble company but we won’t deny that our silver bracelets are some of the most stunning you will find in Australia. The beautiful sparkle of our 925 sterling silver has attracted people from far and wide to our online store and we offer the best quality silver chains. You won’t find any artificial or inferior jewellery in our arsenal, all of our jewellery is the real deal here, it’s no wonder we’re turning heads in the Australian and worldwide jewellery industry.

We offer three main types of chains in silver bracelets; figaro, curb and belcher chains. Our diamond cut Curb chain is very popular because it’s bevelled in a way that allows it to catch and throw more light and appear very sparkly when worn. Each chain is suited to specific uses, the figaro chain, for example makes a great charm bracelet because of its open link style that allows charms to be attached easily.

You can check out our full selection of silver bracelets for sale at our online store. Got questions? Contact us using our callback service, and we'll help you out in any way we can!

We have a huge range of quality solid gold jewellery for men and women in our store.

The next time you buy silver chains, make sure you're getting quality precious metals by buying from Fraser Ross. If you're wondering what makes us so great, just wait until you see the many options you have to choose from. We could talk your ear off all day about how awesome our silver chains are, but we want you to know for yourself how you can spot a quality silver chain.

Pure Silver vs. 925 Sterling Silver

“Pure” isn't really as pure as you think it is. Pure silver contains %0.01 copper. 100% pure silver doesn't exist in the world of jewellery, and in order to make jewellery chains, rings and other designs, other precious metals need to be added to hold them together. This is why sterling silver, often called 925 sterling silver, contains only 92.5% silver (hence the name) to provide a firmer chain. Pure silver is too soft and malleable to be used solely for jewellery making.

#1 – Real Silver Will Leave Marks

Don't freak out if you see black marks on your jewellery polishing cloth. This is the mark of real sterling silver. Oxidization causes sterling silver to tarnish, and even the most cared for silver will eventually deteriorate.

#2 – Use A Magnet

Silver is metal, and magnets attract metal, right? Well, in the case of silver, magnets should have no effect. If you find that there's a mysterious attraction between your silver chains and a household magnet, you've been duped. The silver is a fake.

#3 – The Nitric Acid Test

Don't worry! Nitric acid doesn't have any effect on silver... as long as it's real, that is. Fake sterling silver will become discolored when nitric acid makes contact with it. Just be careful when you use it; wear goggles and gloves. Remember: nitric acid is still acid!

#4 – Follow Your Nose

Smelly, dingy jewellery is a good sign that your precious metal silver isn't quite so precious. Real silver doesn't have a bad smell to it, or any smell at all, in fact. An odor on a piece of jewellery is most likely because the piece has too much copper in it, which tends to smell.

#5 – Find The Mark

Real 925 sterling silver will always have a sort of 'brand' on it, such as the letters “Ster” or another indication of its quality. If you find that your sterling silver doesn't have any indicator on it, you may have a piece of fake jewellery on your hands.

You can test Fraser Ross silver chains all day, but you won't find a single piece of fake jewellery amongst our selection. That's the type of quality we pride ourselves on, and we intend for it to stay that way.
